Jan 11th 2010 radio show, with guests Andy Worthington (freelance writer for the Guardian, and Huntington Post, novelist and co-direct of the documentary “Outside the Law: Stories from Guantanamo”) and Douglas Schapira (founder of Canadian Oath Keepers), along with host Reginald Angus Argue. This show was originally broadcast on COOP Radio out of Vancouver BC Canada.

During the conversation, Andy and Reginald talked about Common Article 3 of the Geneva Conventions and how it has been violated by members of the US, Canadian, British and other nation’s governments.

January 11, 2010, was the eight-year anniversary for the opening of Guantanamo Bay, the United States illegal prison.

How a few religious extremists from the Muslim and Christian religion have caused massive amounts of death and destruction throughout the world (Iraq over 1 million Iraqis dead or injured, tens of thousands of soldiers have been killed and injured from many different nations, also finical cost of the corporate corruption in Iraq has cost the US economy billions leading up to 10 trillion dollars, which has almost caused it to collapse).

Andy also talked about his novel “The Guantanamo Files: The Stories of the 774 Detainees in America’s Illegal Prison”. Andy also talked about the documentary he co-directed “Outside the Law: Stories from Guantanamo” http://www.andyworthington.co.uk/

The second guest, Douglas Schapira, who is the founder of the Canadian Oath Keeper, talked about how Queen Victoria had given up control of Canada in 1893 and had change part of the BNA (British North American Act) from Queen and her successors to just the Queen, which meant after her death when King George V took over the British Monarchy, they had given up control of Canada.
