Nancy Xia author of “Leap – Into the Mind of a Suicide” & Director from Tamara Gordon Foundation chatting with Reginald Argue at the 3rd Annual Scholarship Reception night for the Tamara Gordon Foundation.
During the conversation, Nancy talked about how when she was 18 and battling depression, she jumped from the eighth floor of a high-rise apartment where she lived. She survived the fall and was sadly paralyzed. Since that tragic day, Nancy has graduated from University with a Bachelor Science degree major in Human Psychology, which took her 7 years to complete the 4-year course. Through it all, Nancy never gave up as she is now works for Spinal Cord Injury Ontario & she is a published writer too “Leap – Into the Mind of a Suicide.”
